Yes you can buy the bearing to put in. it is by no means easy. they make a tool to inst. the bearing. it cost a arm and a leg buy tho. you may also find if you do take it apart that the shaft that rides in the bearing may be bad. that shaft is part of the inner tub. and that is way more then you want to put into the unit to repair it.
i did repair my own all by my self bearing and seal parts cost about 100.00ish and it took a few hours in an afternoon there are online detailed inst for this as well as what parts to order whats funney is maytag says this is not a possible repair wow imagine that Eric
