Question about Samsung HT-BD2R 7.1 Channel Blu-ray Home Theatre System Theater System

I can't turn the blu-ray player on or off with the remote. I can however do it manually. I also cannot open the disc drawer either with the remote or manually.

So would it be safe to say the remote isn't working?

• Is the remote control being operated within its operation range of angle and distance?

• Are the batteries exhausted?

• Have you selected the mode(TV/DVD) functions of the remote control (TV or DVD) correctly?

I have an insignia ns brdvd player and it will not open, by remote or by pressing the button. the display shows open and close but no response.

The reviews on this player are that it's a piece of **** and you got ripped off buying it. See if there's a small pinhole near the drawer you can push a straightened paper clip into and manually force the drawer open. Some have it and some don't. Good Luck.

Need Bush DVD player 2053 manual & conversion to multiregion

Try this...

Switch on the player
Open the disc drawer
Using your remote, press numbers 2, 8, 1, 2 once each, then 9 six times slowly
You should see a blue bar appear at the top of your screen with 9 on it
Your player will now play region 4 discs.

Cant read the discs,dvd,cd or blu ray, "no disc"

You need to purchase a dvd disc cleaner or buy a can of air from wal-mart and spray out the drawer and the inside of the player with the drawer open,the eye of the dvd player is probably dusty and can't read the disc...and make sure the dvd is clean with no finger prints on it.

How to unlock region code for Yamaha-DVD-S1800-DVD-Players

This worked last time I tried it. As with all region hacks you must first ensure that the remote has fresh batteries inside.

1. Switch the DVD S1800 on using either the remote or the front panel button.
2. Open the disc loading drawer and leave it open
3. Using the remote control press the "Clear" button.
4. Use the remote keypad to type in "2580".
5. Now press "Subtitle" on the remote.
6. Close the disc loading drawer.
7. Wait until the player has finished the loading cycle
8. Switch the device off using either the remote or the front panel switch.

When you turn the player back on it should be a region 0 (i.e. multi-region) player.

The disc drawer won't open. I tried the remote open/close button and the open/close button on the unit itself. neither opened the DVDR disc drawer.

Dvd drawer wont stay closed

take it back to the store or repair shop. Same thing happened to a friend and because it was new, the machine was exchanged.

LG HT503PH Disc drawer will not open and displays "locked"

there should be a key synbol on the remote. press pwr off, then press the pwr on and the key button at the same time. The usual fault is the child lock has been activated.
