If by chance your warranty expired 10 days ago, try reasoning with Kodak about your issue and how the failure occurred 30 days ago and you just now got around to repairing the main unit, not battery. It happens to all of us, I'm sure they'll cut you some slack on the 10 days.
Now if your warranty expired months ago... :(
