If you unplug the set and plug it back and turn it on and it repeats this look to see if the light is either constantly blinking or blinking a specific number of blinks---specific number would be an error code.
If you can get into the main menu go to load factory default and reboot, This will reload factory settings and this operation will erase all unwanted settings and load back to factory default. so you can load your own settings and take back control of your tv.
Sorry but you are out of luck, the unit will need repair. It could come

I have seen a faulty board work perfectly until the power is removed (intentionally or accidentally) an applied again or reset via the power button for 5 seconds. This will effectively disable the +12 VDC Power oscillator rendering the TV unusable.
Hi, Is it Mitsubishi WD-52628 TV? please confirm model number. Unplug TV from AC outlet for couple of minutes, replug back in, turn power ON and check, still same problem? Lets read error code in TV, press Device and Menu buttons on front of TV at same time for 6 seconds that will activate error code read process. Led will flash in 2 sequence with half second pause. count it and let me know the error code to proceed. Thanks.
You need to change the seven capacitors on the DM power supply board (inside the metal case on the left where your DTV tuner connects)They are 1000 MFD 16 VOLT capacitors and the tops are probably bulging outward because they are leaky- this is a common problem. When you lost power, the TV had to reboot itself but because of the leaky caps it never will and the green light keeps blinking. As long as you never lost power or unplugged the set the TV would of still worked.Once you change the parts and plug the set in the light will blink normaly for about a minute and when it stops blinking you can then turn on the TV.
