My Sony Bravia TV won't turn on, a red light flashes twice every few seconds but nothing happens., the screen is still black. Please advise what i need to do asap.

Tries tv unplug,replug it back like about an hour later.The tv will be resetting back to the factory setting.Now the tv should be working again.If it have the same result.The power supply board is the causes and the problems.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

1. Try turning the power Off and then On by pressing the power button on the TV.
2. Remove AC power from the TV for one minute by unplugging the TV from the outlet or power strip.
3. Reset the TV to factory settings**

1. 
   
   1. Turn on the television.
   2. On the TV remote control, press and hold either the RESET or UP ARROW button.
   3. While holding the RESET or UP ARROW button, press and release the POWER button on the front of the TV.

      NOTE: The TV will turn off and then back on.
      

   4. Release the RESET or UP ARROW button
   5. This should restore function to your flat panel, if not it might be time to call that repairman.
   
   

Flashing power light may mean bad power supply or it detects shorted circuits so it goes into shutdown/restart mode. You can try disconnecting the backlights inverter board to see if the TV will turn on.

Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.
