Tries tv unplug,replug it back like about an hour later.The tv will be resetting back to the factory setting.Now the tv should be working again.If it have the same result.The power supply board is the causes and the problems.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
NOTE: The TV will turn off and then back on.
**How to reset to factory defaults:
Flashing power light may mean bad power supply or it detects shorted circuits so it goes into shutdown/restart mode. You can try disconnecting the backlights inverter board to see if the TV will turn on.

Power off the television. Wait a few minutes, then power it back on. If this does not correct the issue leave the power on, point your remote control towards the Sony television and hold the down arrow button. While holding the down arrow button press the "Power" button. Release the down arrow button and the Sony TV will reset itself to factory settings. Once the television performs a scan on itself your problem should be gone.
