You don't need to install a driver. You should be able to connect the camcorder, using a Firewire/1394 cable, and Windows 7 should recognize it. All versions of Windows since Windows 98 can recognize DV video camcorders. I have a very similar (although USA version) Sony camcorder and I have connected it to over a dozen different Windows computers without ever installing a driver.
Now, while you don't need a driver, you DO need a capture program (an application) to actually do the video capture. Most versions of Windows include
Windows Movie Maker
and this can be used to do the capture. I also highly recommend the shareware program called:
Scenalyzer
which you can download and try for free.
