i have the same thing. du F code. I can't find how I can get into the front panel. How do I do that?

I don't remember what an f-du code stands for, but I will give you the next best thing. There is a list of the error codes and steps to correct the problem right inside your machine.

Remove the lower front panel. (there are 3 #20 torx screws on the bottom of it holding it on). Once you remove the panel, turn it over. There in a sealed plastic envelope will be your technical manual and trouble shooting steps to correct them.

It gets almost top the end of the washing with "estimated time remaining" as 2 but it has not finished draining or spinning. The machine will not let me start another load or cycle

It is probably getting a suds reading. If the control senses excessive motor amp draw then that could mean too much soap. A built in program (you might call it the 2 minute warning) in most front loading machines will try and resolve the problem. It could also mean you have junk in the pump filter. The tech sheet is under the bottom panel. Consult it concerning the final countdown.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F01 in your whirlpool duet sport indicates EEPROM error which means that a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU)
and the EEPROM onboard the CCU occurred. This error also occurs when the pump driver fails to activate and/or one of the main relays is not working. To resolve this issue leave the unit unplugged for 5-10 minutes so that if this was caused due to power surge it is cleared. Also check the CCU (central control unit), if bad you’ll have to replace it. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F1 means primary control failure and to resolve this you’ll have to replace the machine control assembly. This error should be fixed by whirlpool as its a common issue with whirlpool Cabrio washers, you can call 1-800-253-1301 whirlpool will send a tech. to fix it and pay for the part. Thanks for using FixYa. Error F21 means long drain, this error occurs when the drain time exceeds 8 minutes. To resolve this check the drain hose and make sure it is not kinked with any foreign particles; also clean the drain pump filter for any clogs. Also check if the pump is running fine. If still the issue is not resolved after all this then you might have to replace the pump. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
