It might be a thermostat or the fan is dead.

Freezer works no refrigrator

most common fault to cause this problem is cooling element in freezer section iced up. could also be faulty fridge stat not letting cold air through.first pull drawers out of freezer section, if back cover inside feels frosty or snowy, then likely evap (cooling element) is iced up.if so empty cab, switch off for 24 hours with both doors open, and restart. ice ups can be the result of the freezer door being left ajar, but can also be a problem with auto defrost as well as problem in refrigeration circuit. if problem comes back call a service engineer.

Freezer works great, but refrigeration section stopped working

Check the door seals on fridge and freezer to make sure there are NO leaks.
Try manually adjusting air flap that controls air from freezer to fridge, the flap may be frozen or the actuator that controls the flap may be faulty.

Refrigeration side not cold - freezer fine

Please remember the refrigeration side is a empty box the cooling is coming from the freezer side using a fan blowing through a hole cover by a slide and you can slide this cover wide open for colder in the refrigeration side or less as you wish. Hope this can help. God Bless.

Maytag FrenchDoor- fridge not cool

My friend you need a new circulation fan motor.
As you can see the diagram.
Your freezer do not need fan to be cold, but your refrigerator need a fan to deliver cool air into it.

MSD2756GEB (Side By Side) Runs All the time

I went to the Maytag site and found a similar QA area and found a short article that talked about frost build up and/or blockage of any sort preventing airflow from the freezer compartment to the refrigerator compartment. They said this would impact proper operation of the refrigerator.

I emptied out the freezer after I inspected and found significant frost/ice in the upper right hand corner around the "scoop" that directs airflow into the refrigerator compartment. I took that off and removed all the ice build up (almost 1/2 blockage). I then removed the entire back panel and noticed that my refrigeration unit was completely iced up with significant build up around all the wires and thermostat.

I defrosted the entire unit with the aid of a hairdryer (at a safe distance so not to over heat anything) and then made sure my evaporator coils were all clean in the back and turned the refrigerator back on. (I unplugged it during the defrost operation.) I made sure that the fans worked both above the interior refrigeration unit and at the evaporator unit. Then I waited for the compressor to kick on.

Wallah! Everything so far was working so I put the rear panel back together in the freezer section, closed her up and waited to see what would happen. So far I've had to turn down the refrigerator section to around 5 and the freezer to about 4. The unit now seems to run correctly, shutting off after it runs for a while.

So I guess I'll wait and see how long this defrosting step works. Maybe the self defrost switch or something is not working and the problem will return in a month or so. We'll see..............

Refrigerator won't cool. Freezer works fine!

Pierce, there was a service bullitin put out on this model. TDR-0010A-B. Had to do with normal freezer, warm fresh food compartment. Maytag issued a kit that included a new thermostat and damper assy. to solve this problem. Bullitin came out in 2002. If you are not having a defrost issue and all fans are running normal, I would call Maytag and inquire about the above posted bullitin, It may be covered. Catriver...post back.
