i think you will have to do a hard reset to sort this out.
Just tap the Power button to select Reboot System Now.
  1. Make sure tablet is powered off.
  2. Hold down Volume + button and Power button at same time.
  3. When screen comes on let go of Power button.
  4. When the large Android shows on screen let go of Volume + button.
  5. Use Volume - button to scroll to Wipe Data/ Factory Reset.

I'm sorry, but unless you remember the password, you probably aren't getting back into the tablet. You'll have to do a factory reset, starting over as a new tablet. You didn't mention if you had an Android or iPhone, so I will include both.

To my knowledge, you would need to do a factory reset if you have forgot your password. That was my only option. I hope you backed it up or you will need to reload all your apps and such things.
