Little bit of Water goes in drum does not turn or agitate buzzes and stops working. F 51 flashes?

my machine modelis AW-9770s

Can you post the make and model the drum, could be ceased or the brushes in the motor is gone, or the motor is gone altogether

your problem still could be a bad lid switch not making. also, check your spin/agitate belt part #40053606. hope the attaced breakdown helps.

1st check pump is pumping out water/ next could be motor not running due to fault, not sure if brushes are in this motor if so check for wear, quite old so could be the motor gone...

              We recommend the following when a washer's cycles dont advance..

1. If the washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer does not advance, the timer probably needs to be replaced
   
2. If the timer does not advance while the washer is in a spin cycle, the timer probably needs to be replaced
   
3. If the timer does not advance during the rinse cycle, check whether water has filled the tub, if not, it is likely cold water related. Check the cold water supply valve, check the supply hose for kinks, check the filter screen and check the water inlet valve

The same thing happens with my dishwasher. I have made it work by doing the following. When you start up the cycle, turn the dial to just a tick before "start." If you hear the buzzing, but no water is running, unlock and then lock the dishwasher door again. This usually gets it running. If it's still not running water, unlock, advance the dial a little bit, and lock again. This should work. You need to be around for the early parts of the dishwashing cycle because this machine tends to stop up and buzz without running water until it gets past "short wash." Every time this happens, do the same thing, unlock and lock, and advance the dial a little when necessary. Once you get past "short wash," it should complete the wash without intervention.

You have a bad pully cam or brake

sounds a s if you have ablockage within oyour pump assy, remove th elower acess panel and undo the "button trap" your problaby clogged up, the drain pump is humming, causeit cant pump any water

there is a tub seal under the spin tub that proab needs replacing open the front panel then raise the top then grab the agitator and **** up on it hard it should snap out then unsnap the splash ring around the outer tub take the little bolt out of the agitator drive loosen the nut on the spin tub and remove it keep going down till you get to the tub seal replace it then reassemble

Check your top door safety switch, this is usually the problem when the washer fills and then nothing. You will see a small plastic bar on the bottom side of the door. This bar goes thru a hole at the base of the drum (upper panel) which in turn depresses a switch. Check to see if this is working properly.
