they need to find the shorted parts or leak thats why your oscillation is not normal functioning...

Chances are there is something shorted on the horizontal circuit or the secondary side of the flyback. Check for shorted diodes or horizontal output transistor. Proscan TVs are usually pretty reliable,well worth repairing in most cases.

Tv is working fine except that for the last 3 nights, it has been shutting off automatically at 12:30 AM. Is there a set up option that allows me to change or turn off that feature?

yes there is if you go to your set up menu look for "sleep timer" and turn it off . please let me know if that works

Unplug the TV for maybe 10 minutes, then turn it on. Sometimes these units simply need to recycle. If that doesn't work, you've likely got serious problems.

i hear a clicking noise- the clicking noise is most likely you ballast trying to power the lamp, but failing. this may indicate a defective ballast if you have recenty purchased a new lamp.I recomend you have your lamp tested to help narrow down the cause of the defect. It's highly unlikely for a new lamp to be dead on arrival

hearing a clicking sound inside an ac adapter is something very unusual. it could be possible that this is a factory defect. call hp and ask for a replacement of another brand.
