  1. Access the Wii System Settings
  2. Click on the blue arrow to reach the Wii System Settings 2 menu options.
  3. Choose "Sensor Bar " and select "sensitivity"

  • Use the Wii Remote to get the cursor to get the two white dots in the test field.
  • If you see two blinking dots, then the sensitivity is currently set correctlyIf you don't see two blinking dots (they don't have to blink at the same time), adjust the sensitivity with the + and - buttons of the Wii Remote until you see two blinking dots.
  • Select "Confirm" to save the setting.
Please note that the higher the sensitivity setting, the more sensitive the Sensor Bar becomes to sunlight and various light sources. This may impact the operation of the Wii Remote. The initial recommended distance for using the Wii Remote Pointer is 3 to 8 feet from the Sensor Bar.
Seeing more than two dots?
If you see more than two dots on the Sensitivity screen, then the Wii Remote is picking up on additional light sources. Verify that there are no bright light sources, including sunlight, behind or near the TV, shining towards the Wii Remote or reflecting off the TV screen. Avoid sources of infrared light in the gameplay area such as electric, propane or kerosene heaters, flames from fireplaces or candles, and stoves or other sources of heat.

Look for anything blocking in the sensor panel of the TV, like glue, gum or any other sticky substance, which might obscure communication. If these are ok, the sensor part has to be looked into.

My AT&T U-Verse remote control is not responding anytime I click it. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi Yoav! The AT&T remote control from U-Verse can be quite buggy sometimes-- trust me when I say you're not alone.
Thankfully, the fix is quite simple and should only take you a couple of minutes. If this doesn't work you need to get a replacement remote.
All you have to do is turn your receiver off, keep it off for about a minute, and turn it back on again. For whatever reason the U-Verse remote and your cable box will intermittently lose the ability to interact with one another, but going through this type of "soft reset" will usually solve the problem.
I know AT&T has had this issue for awhile but it looks like they haven't been able to solve it yet. Big surprise right?!?!

Sensor bar inactivity on the wii videogame system

First you Should test with another sensor bar...try to take it from a friend to test it in your system...could be cracked wires from the sensor bar....try to test the wires with a multimeter and resolder the wires from the cable...or you can take your sensor bar and test it in another wii...you need to known if its really bad ,or if there is something wrong with your wii system...

Is your sensor bar connected to the Wii? Check the sensor bar cable for cuts or severe bends (like a V shape) as they might cause the detection problems with the Wii-mote. A cheap fix is to put lit candles in front of your TV and see if the Wii-mote picks it up then.
