LG WFT1071TP Top Load Washer Logo
Posted on Jan 17, 2011

I have a LG Fuzzy logic for a year and a half now, model WF-8071TTP top loader. it seems that after washing all my clothes are full of fluff. I have cleaned out the filter bag, and all little filters at the water pipe exits. Any advice would be tremendously appreciated!

Certain materials give off fluff and some others seem to attract it. you can try putting in similar materials together and avoid mixing turkish bath towels, blankets and jackets and such clothes having fluffy lining with normal clothes. Also try selecting higher water level (overriding the automatic selection) manually. Once when i had fluff on clothes, it turned out to be tissue paper from my child's jeans pockets. After cleaning the filter bag, run the machine empty at maximum water level every week. Hope one of these will help solve your problem.

How to soak somethings overnight in my new LG washer ?

The method we use on our LG WF 8071TTP top-loader:

Load stuff to be soaked.
Add soap.
Set load size and water inlets.
Start wash cycle.
Wait until water is full, and begins washing.
Press Start/Pause button.
Press Auto Stop button to switch machine off.

Next morning:
Press Auto Stop button to switch machine on.
Press Start/Pause button.
The fuzzy logic (if machine has this) will register that machine is full, and washing will continue.

This dE error or fault code to indicate that the door is not latching properly. Check the lid or door operation to be sure it's not binding and that the door alignment is correct. Also, check the door/lid hinges to be sure they're not binding. Finally, make sure the door catch is in place and not broken. You may need to replace the door hook/catch or the door lock assembly.

Hi I have a LG Fuzzy Logic 8.2kg WF-8071TTP washing machine. It washes but does not spin dry. Please heelp

may sound crazy, but sometimes the water pump gets clogged and does not operate, so will not spin. safety feature, I guess.
Try cleaning out pump.

Front loader? Coins do get into the baffles. They may be riveted on. I would leave it alone, personally.

Top loader LG fuzzy 8.2kgs wf-8071ttp showing dE. Error. What could be the major fault

all top loader washers have a lid switch so machine will stop when lid is raised,on the inside of the lid the is mounted a small plastic cover with a magnet inside which activates a switch just under the top of the machine if the magnet is gone thats your problem,if still there then switch is faulty

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

'de' does stand for Door Error. There is likely to be a problem with either the lid/door solenoid/lock or the 'lid/door closed' sensor becoming apparent with the extra movement of washing requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!
