Hey James,,, we need a little more info as to what you are referring to... If its an automobile.. they are usually on the harmonic balancer.. you will need a timing light to check and other tools to adjust...

i put in a brand new developer unit, using the new developer I had just replaced into the old developer unit, reset drum and maintenance counters, ran F8 again. The machine came into ready, ran (1) copy, jamed on fuser entry and C2557 fired again. I then reset the switch in the back (right hand side), reset the switch on the main board, reset drum and maintenance counters, ran F8 again. Jan 2016 --- Panzo's solution worked a treat, just remember to go into analogue, press buttons quickly, navigate to reset (option#12) and press left arrow which will remove the snow effect in analogue.

GO to menu and settings there as the last option you will find factory reset or restore factory settings .... select that ... it will ask for security code ... the default code is 12345 if you have not changed it ..... try this and check

Yes it will works on all IR models! I try it many times for all my customer here in Saudi Arabia and it works all the time!

I will have to look the code up again i might have remembered it wrong give me a few hours to locate it thank you james it will reset the tv back to factory settings with no codes in the set, then you can set them your self.
