subsequently there are no Windows 7 drivers.

There are no drivers for the kodak 8500 thermal printer for windows vista so I doubt it would work. The only operating systems that the drivers are available in are windows 98, 2000, ME, and xp.

I have a Windows 7 Operating System 64 Bit and a Kodak 8500 Dye Sub printer. How do I get a driver that will work for this printer?I have tried the xp in xp mode I may be doing that wrong .
1st You download Printer Driver. Kodak Printer Driver For Windows 7 After this install the Printer driver in the system.
Installation of Printer Driver
  • Go to the control panel
  • Click on the System Icon
  • Click on the Hardware Tab
  • Click on the Device Manager then
  • Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
  • Right click on it and uninstall it.
  • After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
  • Driver installation Wizard start.
  • Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
  • Driver will be install.

XFX 8500 GT driver for Windows Server 2003 32 bit
Try...

www.Nvidia.com then drivers and downloads

If there isnt a driver for server 2k3 try it for Vista first if not try an XP driver... make sure there 32-Bit drivers...

I think the Windows XP driver should work. Here is a link to nvidia's site with the recommended drivers:
