Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. DO NOT use the 2x barlow if you have one. Go outside and try again.. The end with the focuser is the UP end of the tube. The mirror inside is the BOTTOM of the tube nearest the ground.

What type battery is called for to install in the "Finderscope" of a Tasco 49114500 telescope? Have looked everywhere. Thank you.

Here are all of TASCO's manuals.

Most red dot finders take a small watch style battery available at Wal Mart and almost any watch retail store.

I have a makusutove 150 1800 telescope and I cant seem to get it to focus correctly - it seems as though the mirrors are focussing the light behind the viewing lens. I can get a focussed image if I hold...

You do not have enough BACK-FOCUS, you need an extension tube for the focuser like this one:

Buy the correct size for the focuser hole--

I accidentally took apart the barlow lens 3x and the 2 lenses came out i just need to now witch way to put them back in is it )) or (( towards the eye piece

Sorry-- there are several different ways it could go depending on the barlow. NEVER disassemble an eyepiece or a barlow. Only the outside surfaces need to be cleaned from time to time.

Do not know how to get black cover off of lense

First are you sure you have the CORRECT end of the scope pointed toward the sky? On a reflector type telescope that uses mirrors, the focuser is on the side of the tube on the UP end of the telescope. The mirror is in the bottom.

Mose caps simply pop off, others unscrew. You may be trying to remove the BOTTOM mirror!

I need a manual for tasco 49114500

You will not find a manual for those small reflector telescopes. However they all assemble and are used in the same way.

Meade maintains a web site with all of there assembly and use manuals. Look under the 4.5 inch REFLECTOR header for one similar to your telescope.

By the way this is a REFLECTOR with a mirror in the bottom. of the telescope. The FOCUSER end is pointed UP. Read my tips on my profile page.

Here is the link to the Meade manuals--

Completed setup, can't see anything through eyepiece.

I answered your question already-- TURN THE SCOPE around you have it mounted backwards! The eyepiece end is pointed UP. Like the picture above in your question.

Tasco telescope[46-114500]cannot see anything through lens.bought

THE protective cover is the FRONT of the telescope!!!

The focuser is on the front like the picture above. TURN the scope around -- you have it pointing at the ground right now!

Read my TIPS on my profile page. And read this and look at the pictures:

That is a REFLECTOR style telescope. Just go to Meade's web site and download a REFLECTOR manual that is similar to your telescope. They all work the same way.
