It depends on the model. Here is a link to a manual TASCO. See page 8 for battery type and how many it takes.

I have a Tasco Pro Point PDP2 and the CR2032 does not work in it. The battery compartment is only going to accept a battery about 3/8" in diameter and maybe a 1/4" thick. I do have other Pro Point scopes that the CR2032 does fit but not this one. I don't know what it takes but it's not the 2032.

The Manual says a DL1/3N or 2L76. It takes two. See this web site for a package ------>>>>>>http://www.batteryjunction.com/duracell-... <<<<<----- copy and paste this in a new tab or window.

What is the voltage number of the battery for a

The battery that is supposed to be used in there is the cr1/3n sometimes called cr13n.
It is a 3 volt lithium battery. 11mm Height x 11.6mm Diameter

In a pinch some folks have had success using 2 stacked lr44 batteries which are the same diameter, but half the height and half the voltage.

You should use the lithium battery.

Good Luck!
