You can check the start and end times on your receiver to see if the timers are setup to begin a few minutes early or end a few later than the actual program time. This would cause a conflict if you are trying to record back to back shows.
To access the screen, press the DVR button to bring up the DISH On Demand screen. Press 1 (My Recordings) on the remote. On the My Recordings screen, highlight the Schedule button on the right, press Select. On the Daily Schedule screen, highlight the Timers button on the right, press select. On the Timers List screen, move the cursor into the box with the list of timers and select a timer, press select. On the Timer Event screen, highlight the Options button, press select. On the Timers Options screen, this is where the early and late activity is set. Change the numbers to a number that will work for your needs. Once completed, highlight and select Done; then exit out of each screen. I hope this helps.

Hi this is Luke.
DVR Priority settings are used to prioritize timers should there be a conflict
between timers. The top of the list is the highest priority and takes
precedence. The bottom of the list is the lowest priority. A lower priority
timer will not fire if there is a higher priority timer at the same time. Timers
that conflict with each other will display Attention 532. The message may
display when switching from Single User Mode to Dual User Mode because the
receiver recalculates timers for conflicts.
Selecting Automatically resolve by
priority will allow the receiver to set the priority level of the timer. The
last timer created will have the lowest priority level and will not be recorded
if both tuners are being used for other higher priority level
timers.
Selecting Change the priority of this timer will allow the
customer to set the priority level of the timer. With the new event highlighted
in the Daily Schedule screen (the event will display with the skip icon), press
Select. Select Restore and then Yes. The new timer will now have a higher
priority level than the conflicting timers.
