hi , you panasonic plasma tv maybe have more than one problems in the sub power supply # etx2mm704mgb & power supply unit # etx2mm704mgh or #etx2mm704mgn. you must check original one what # ? parts you buy on shop jimmy.com. good luck!
The power supply board of the television is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
Blinking 10 times or what ever the blinks is,if is on the LED power light indication?Yes,this problems is not the tv Tuner signal board problems. It is the tv power supply board is the problems.Repairing this problems for a friend this by replacing the power supply board before it work.It also a Panasonic Virera Plasma tv too.Try website like Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
Hi:
You will need to count the number of red led blinks on the power indicator, if it is at least 10 then replace the power supply it is faulty, In my years of servicing panasonic Plasma, power supply failure is about the most common failue in this class of television from this manufacture.
Either a bad power supply or a bad processor board. A Good Service Shop should know what the 10 blinks are indicating. May be a repair cost between $200 and 400 dollars. Be prepared - Blessings, A/V Media Guy
Sounds like a main board or a sustain board problem. This is most definantly not a repair job for the consumer to attempt. Please call in someone who is experienced with Plasma TV sets, as these boards can be very very expensive. Too expensive for you to guess and buy and then have to order the other one. Oh this model also has some power supply issues as well. Good Luck
