Squeakes alot - Hotpoint NBXR463EBWW Electric Dryer

If squeaks alot when it is cold and/or you turn your lights on, you are gonna have to give a litlle more tension to the belt, it might have got loose (wearing) or was not sufficiently tensionedwhenyou got it fixed. Consider replacing the belt if you haven't done so already.

but you can check with the place you bought it from & tell them it's squeaking alot, & see if it needs to be oiled, or if they want you
to bring it back to them to be checked

check cv joints and wheel bearings

One of my customers had the same problem. I sprayed all the bushings with WD-40 and the noise went away. The rubber bushings have metal sleeves inside them that bolts go thru, over time, rust will build up and you'll get a squeak. The newer cars have alot of bushings on them.

As you probably know squeaking could be alot of things, but the most common noise, that would not effect performance, would be serpentine belts. You can buy a can of belt dressing at Autozone, that you spray on the inside, the contact side, of the belt. If it is the belt, this should help. If it's been a long time since replaced you may want to replace belt. Alot of those belts will break after being worn out, but the better quality belts may not break, but they will make a horrendous squealing noise. If it's not the belt, you'd have to have someone look at it to troubleshoot. Good luck.

Sealed joints, they are designed to be replaced when lube is needed. Ball-joints and tie-rod ends.

If the model is equipped with a fan, and the noise occurs even when not oscillating it must be a fan/blower motor. If it is a squeak. A squeal could be an electical component going bad which is always bad. I would definitely take some bottom drawer tools , ie. screwdrivers and WD-40 and oil that squeaking motor. Being a fan it goes through alot of air pollutants. That tends to build up on the shaft and can work its way into the bearing seal. Good luck.

Parts will get cheaper, that's what will happen. There are alot of companies that make the replacement parts. What you need to do is grease it not WD it. Pull the steering wheel and tighten everything up in there and grease where there's grease, use molygraph, it will last alot longer than WD. WD is a penetrant, not an all purpose lube. Wrong tool for the job.
