Go to control panel > programs and features , high light webroot antivirus and press uninstall
turned on or not that is where the uninstall wizard removes it from the hard drive
you may have to reboot the computer when it is finished to ensure that it is fully removed

hi

your webroot spyware is clashing with some of the security update of windows.

before you install on any of the system just go to run
->msconfig ->startup->disable all->restart and then install the webroot.

I think its solved

Under normal circumstances, like any other Anti-Malware software, Webroot will protect itself. You cannot randomly shut down its service. You cannot use most external uninstallers.

Always try to uninstall it using Add & Remove Programs first (on XP) or Programs and Features (In Vista and 7), or the uninstall link in All Programs on your start menu.

If you are not able to find it in any of these places, get the official cleanup utility from Webroot directly at:

http://download.webroot.com/SSCCleanup.exe

This utility is made to cleanly shut down and clean up Webroot SpySweeper, Antivirus, and Internet Security Essentials and will even remove itself when it's done.

Webroot antispyware not sweeping

Hi,

if you are using webroot antispyware software on the computer. you have 2 resolution for that.

1. if you have a CD then you can uninstall and reinstall it before that disconnect the internet connection.

2. If your are downloading it online then the only thing is first try to download a different antivirus for the time being and then you can uninstall webroot from the cmptr and then you can download it again and then you can uninstall the antivirus which you installed for the time being.

this will resolve the issue.
