I bought Frigidaire freezer LFFU14F5HW that was delivered yesterday. It was a floor model and I got a very good price on it. When I went to register it, I could not find a serial number. There is no sticker. Lowes tells me I do not need serial number for service but I am most uncomfortable and want to avoid future hassles. Lowes says they will pick it up and refund but they have already removed my old freezer and I don't know what to do. Can anyone advise? Thank you.

there are a few places to look for most frigidaire side by sides the model and serial number are on a tag either on the right hand inside wall of the refrig section or on the ceiling in the refrig section. on some older models though the tag may be behind the crisper drawers at the bottom. hope that helps. peyton

The defrost drain located behind the freezer back panel has gotten clogged. You will need to remove the panel to gain proper access to the defrost drain. After removing the ice build up you will have to also clear the tube using boiling water alittle at a time poured into the drain opening. this will open the tube up and gain proper flow again.

the defrost drain pan is plugged up,you need to defrost it and run a wire down the drain tray hole so it can drain to the bottom as it defrosts otherwise it defrosts and runs everywhere else and re freezes
