Sounds you'll need to get a new adapter. you can at least try to disconnect and reconnect the power cord from the adapter brick to make sure it is attached securely and try a different wall outlet. if same thing happens, you may need a new cord or a new adapter all in all.

Suddenly won't turn on no charge light indicator

Whenyou connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED lightup? If not then -The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's powersocket could be faulty.Check power adapter's DCplug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltageshould be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on thebottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that isprinted on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK thenconnect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/batterycharging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED lightstays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder jointwhere it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but itrequires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket andrepair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

My Canon MX700 will not turn on.

Hi John,

Check if the led on adapter is on ( few adapters has power led light ) to indicate the adapter is working.

If the Adapter has light on it, your printer is damaged and it needs replacement/repair.

If the adapter light is off - You just need to replace the adapter

Suhail

Printer wont turn on

Try to unplug the power adapter at the back of the printer and check if the LED light is on. If not, try to plug in the power cord to another power outlet. If still the same problem, the power adapter is the culprit.

If the LED light is on, make sure to plug in the power adapter all the way in the printer.

No power

Unplug the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the rectangular black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Leave the power cord attached to it with the other end plugged in straight to the power outlet in the wall. Bypass any surge device or power strip. There should be a green LED light on around the adapter's contacts. If LED is off, properly secure the power cord. If that doesn't help, either the power adapter or the power cord is the problem. If LED is on, plug it in the correct position back in the printer and properly secure it. If printer won't automatically power on, press the power button. If that doesn't help, the printer itself is the problem. I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem.

Lexmark 2600 wil not turn on, no lights, nothing absolutely zippo. Definately has power from the mains switch so could be either the transformer into the printer or within the printer itself. have tried...

Unplug the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Leave power cord attached to the power adapter and the other end of the power cord plugged in straight to a known working wall power outlet, bypass any surge device or power strips. There should be green LED light on around the power adapter's silver contacts. If none, make sure the power cord is properly secured. If that doesn't help, that's the main problem. If LED light is on, plug it back in the printer in the right position and properly secure it in. If printer won't automatically power on, press the power button. If that won't help at all, the printer itself is the problem. I hope I can assist you more on this.
