Whenever I plug in my charger, the screen starts to flip, going upside down and sideways really fast, and the Q Menu pops up along with the onscreen keyboard.

It sounds like the charger is worn out, its output is noisy, if it works ok on battery then replace the charger, avoid using the bad charger it may damage your tablet.

Alternately, the switch on the side of your iPad might be set to Lock Rotation, so go to Settings > General and see if Use Side Switch To: is set to Lock Rotation. This would mean that whenever the switch above the volume controls is down, the orientation is locked.
Hi You either have the wrong charger for the device. Check if your using your camera charger instead of the Tablet charger the ends look similar, the camera end is larger. If it is the right charger make sure the orientation os the end is correct. You may have it upside down? Look at the female socket end as a guide. Do you mean the onscreen text or pictures don't rotate when you turn the tablet sideways? If so, on the Home screen tap Settings, then scroll all the way down the settings past the bottom of the screen. Near the end of the list is Accessibility. Tap that, and then in the System section be sure there's a check in the box next to Auto-rotate screen. If there isn't, tap the checkbox to put one in. Then press the back arrow till you're back at the Home screen, and when you rotate your tablet the pictures and text should remain horizontal.
You have asked about the Kindle eReader, but your question refers to a Kindle FIRE.
On the eReader touch the Aa button and select the correct orientation that you require.
On the FIRE drag down from the top to reveal the top MENU - select the CIRCLE icon on the left which is the SCREEN LOCK icon. Turn it off.
