Question about Samsung C3050 Cell Phone

Change the language of Samsung C3050 to english

    I had this strange problem that when I received my Samsung C3050 the language was a Non-english language and most of the menues did not make sense to me...none of the online forums nor the manual helped me, so I thought to post this question and answer it myself as below:

    1/Slide the slider up
    2/ Cilck the center square button which takes you to the main menu with 12 icons
    3/Scroll to the right bottom icon that looks like a wheel.
    4/Select the wheel Icon by pressing the center square button.
    5/Press the number 4 button on the keypad.
    6/Then Press number 1 on the keypad.
    7/Find English which is usually the 2nd menu item from the top, and select it by using the center square button.

    Ond that is how you are our of the nightmare

From home screen > Ok (menu) > Gears (settings and tools) > 6 (phone settings) > 4 (language) > English

Go to Main Menu/settings/system/Regional Settings

Change the location here. If you have the problem still then try doing the hard reset in the same location. Once the phone restarts, then specify your region and language.

Do remember to backup your data before doing the hard reset. I hope it helps

SOURCE: How to change i900 language from Greek to English.

1 : Download & install latest version ActivSync 4.5 for XP ActiveSync 4.5
2 : Download samsung omnia os ZHHH2Z < full update Hong Kong English tested by me

3: Press the 'dial' key to the left of the optical pad to bring up the dialer
With the onscreen keypad input *#1546792*#
Select 'Preconfiguration'
Enter code *#81230*# and select OK
Select 'Hong Kong', with the default Operator
Accept this, DEVICE WILL HARD RESET<(credit goes to modaco forum Paul for this tips)

4 : open i908ZHHH2_ENG from download folder

5 : Turn off the omnia

6 : connect the omnia to a pc using the usb cable

7 : turn on the omnia

8 : click start button if the device found

9 : wait for job done massage

I want to add Farsi language into Samsung C3050 Model but I don't have any software for It.


Go to phone settings and select the option display. You can find the the settings for language there you can choose your language.


OR:
you can find in the settings>>phone settings>>language.

How to change the i900 language from French to English?


HI, what you need to do is to go to settings on your phone...visit your phone setting and select language settings, select English Language.

Your Samsung Omnia (SGH-I900) supports only one default language. There is no way to add/change additional languages to your mobile phone.
