Trying to hook up an antenea and I do not get any channels. I keep getting the "Please Run Channel Auto Scan". I have run the scan several times but it still keeps coming up. Help.

If when You scan, and you don't get at least one channel, it will keep showing You this message! look at screen it will show new channels! if no new channels check to make sure your coax is hooked up good, also make sure you are using right setting if outside antenna, select antenna, if cable select cable for your source!

It sounds like it is not seeing any signal. Do you have the input set for the proper type? Air or Cable

Check your RF connection to ensure you have a signal coming into your television.

I just received a Coby TFTV992 9" portable TV. I'm trying to tune the TV channels without success.

1st click the "mode" button on the TV or remote then use the vol. up and down buttons to scroll around until you get to DTV mode then press "enter" on the remote you should get a message "please run channel auto scan" . click "Menu" on the remote the "Picture" screen will come up, keep clicking the vol. up button to scroll past "Audio" then "Setup" then to "Channel" then use the CH up or down buttons to scroll to "Air" click OK , then use the CH down button to scroll to "Scan all channels" then click the vol. up button. it then should start scanning, FYI you have to be fast!

Can't get rid of "Please Run Channel Auto Scan" stays on tv screen

for some reason it is not seeing you cable signal. you will need to make sure you have it set up for cable and not air. check your input options, like tv/av/hdmi/ ect hope this helps

you need to select cable from off your remote and run the auto scan.even if it says you does not need to run auto scan still run the auto scan.good luck.
