Do you mean the password for your iPod or your apple account? If it's your apple account you can go through apple's website and retrieve your username and/or reset your password My Apple ID
If it's your iPod password you forgot, then unfortunately you will need to reset your device and delete everything on it to get it working again. Here's a link to do just that: How to Reset Forgotten Password on iPod touch
plug it into your computer and through itunes on
your original computer you will be able to reset
it. If it is not the original computer that you are using you will
be able to reset it but will probably lose the information on it.
there is no way you can unlock your ipod nano without the screen password. i would request you to contact the authorized service center. they will be in a position to help you out.
OOPS, try this: connect it to your computer and click reset when your ipod nano comes
up on itunes. you should click on the ipod name in the left side of
your screen (lwhere the itunes library and store icons are located)
and there should be a button that says restore or reset your ipod to
origional settings. it will erase all passwords. Let me know if this helps
connect it to itunes and do a reset and then restore your music etc and it should be fine - there is no way that I am aware of to recover it aside from resetting / restoring your ipod
Basically you cant unlock the voulume if you dont know the password. You would probably have to reset your iPod in order to adjust your volume and when you put a new password in be sure to remember it.
