SOURCE: quinny zapp, how to open
I find to fold it, I place my foot on number 3 and push a little then press number 2 and 1 and the same time and fold the seat unit. Then just push down ontyo it untill t is fully folded. I find it to difficult to press 1 then 2 then 3 - 3 always gets jammed if i follow their instructions.
To unfold pull number 3 untill it clicks then nfold seat unit an click the middle handle - hey presto buggy shuld work :)
i thk the instructions tey give a more work than needed.
SOURCE: problem with zapp seat
There are two blackclips on the top inside handles pull these gently to loosen the seat cover. Then repeat on the bottom. You will also have to unbutton the back of the seat (there are two black straps) then half fold the buggy and pull the seat towards you. Its a bit niggly and frustrating but does eventually come off.
SOURCE: how do you fold down
the steps are numbered 123 on the stroller. press the big round button numbered 1 on the right side (i think), which is located where the handle meets the main part of the stroller. Press the big round button numbered 2 on the other side. After you press button 2, you should be able to fold the handles (both of them together) forward, swinging the handlebars out in an arc until they're nearly touching the front wheel, on the ground. Now, step 3 is the difficult one--you've got to release the catch numbered 3 (underneath the seat, directly beneath where the baby's bottom goes) and then slide the ring forward, along the rod underneath the seat, toward the front wheel. If you can get it going, the rest will happen very smoothly, and the stroller will fold very compactly. It's difficult to describe, but once you get it, it's a cinch after a little practice. Good luck!
SOURCE: Quinny Zapp Undeployable Frame
You have hopefully sorted this out by now, but I had a similar problem with my Quinny Zapp. I sprayed the button with WD40 (between the button and the surrounding plastic) and this did the trick for mine.
Best wishes
