Someone has switched my tanita BF 625 to metric readout and i don't know how to switch it back

Does it work if you turn it off, then wait 15 seconds, then turn it on?

When you cycle the power switch quickly sometimes the electronics do not get the chance to discharge, leaving erroneous data in the buffer. If the unit otherwise operates OK, then just make sure you pause between switch operations.

if your talking about centigrade instead of farenhight hold the + & - down at same time it will switch back

Just spoke with Tanita Tech support- r5 indicates if the scale is in PC mode (able to receive data from scale). There is a button sequence to toggle between PC mode and stand-alone mode.

1. Press&Hold Zero button, then Press&Hold On/Off.
2. Release.
3. Arrow buttons toggle between PC mode and Stand-Alone, select which mode you would like.
4. Press Set button to select mode.
