I have a Motorola I1 android with Telus as a carier. I could downlowd any Android app no problem until last night. Every time I download an app, it downloads it but when it comes to install there is a message that appears and reads : INSTALLATION ERROR and the app can't complete to install. Anyone experience this problem before ?

Hi Andrew, I have the exactly same problem, started last night... i almost did hard reset and then i see that you the same problem on the same day... maybe it's a "Market" issue??
i also have two updates available, and when i try to run the update i get the same "installation error" and the app turn to "free" instead of the "update available", when in fact the app is still there (installed)...

When i try to downloan apps from marketplace it say i do not have an android device registered, how do i fex that

Where are you downloading apps from, the phone/tablet or on a PC? Have you setup a gmail account on your phone yet? A gmail account is required to register the phone/tablet on the android market.

Dont know how to transfer ebooks to htc wildfire phone

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

Your HTC Wildfire has the Android 2.1 OS. As such, there are several apps at Android Market you can use to download books. Just download whichever app you need. Most are free.

However, I STRONGY suggest that you download Lookout to your phone before installing any apps!

Lookout Download:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.lookout&feature=search_result

eBook Apps:
https://market.android.com/search?q=ebooks&c=apps

My daughter and I both have the motorola i1 phones through Sprint. Yesterday she was talking on hers and the screen began cracking just like a windshield would with the cracking noise and spidery cracks....

Sounds like the phone may have been left in the sun causing it to crack and continued use only made the problem worse. You should be able to find a cheap replacement for the phone on E-bay however the phone is an older model and doesn't look to be getting updated with newer version of the Android Operating System. It may be time to upgrade.

Why can't I watch youtube videos on my motorola i1 when I try to it says check your network settings

is this problem with youtube only or same with other website also ?
here: Download now!

1. Download "youtube.apk" on your computer.
http://rs716.rapidshare.com/files/248200990/YouTube.apk
Save it to your Motorola i1 SD card
2.Enable installation of non-market apps on the phone.
Settings---Applications---Check "unknown sources"
3.Download and intall "Linda file manager" in the android marketplace.
4. Open linda file manager, navigate to your sd card and install youtube.apk
thats it :)
