Product Lift Master Professional Line 1/2 HP Security + Model # 1265LM Door goes down intermittently. Door will go down approx. 8 - 10 inches, stop and then retract. Remote in hand, I press the button and barely using any pressure, I guide the door down until its half way and then it closes. Tried adjusting the increase travel down button and made no change. Thank you

Check alignment of the obstruction sensors .... they shoot a light beam across the doorway about 6 inches above the floor. One is mounted on each side of the door track near the floor.

SOURCE: Lift-Master GDO goes up, not down

If the door operates freely without any binding, while operating it manually then It would appear that the obstruction sensor mounted across the doors path is ether out of alignment, lens dirty,or malfunctioning

SOURCE: Grage door reverces and goes back up after touching the ground

ADJUST THE CLOSE LIMIT SWITCH UNTIL THE DOOR CLOSE SOFTLY, UN CAN DECREASE IT BY TURNING THE FLAT SCREW COUNTERCLOCKWISE.... VERIFY THAT BOTH LEDS OF THE PHOTOCELLS ARE ONE.. OTHERWISE U GONNA HAVE TO ALIGN THEN OR REPLACE IT!

SOURCE: Door goes up, Won't go down.

It sounds like the limits are out of adjustment. With the door down, rotate the down limit until it clicks. Then raise the door manually, and set the up limit until it clicks. You should be able to hear the switch 'click' when it activates. Pay attention to which way the plastic nuts are moving on the screw going up and down. That way you know which way to turn them to set it.

Liftmaster garage door opener stuck

Since the garage door only opens with the door unattached I would first check your garage door torsions springs. The garage door opener actually does not lift the door. The springs actually do the lifting. The most likely solution to your problem. Best Wishes, Frank Security Door Gate and Fence.

My opener is a 1/2 horse lift master professional chain drive . The door will not close unless you hold the closer button in. From the remote it will only move a few inches and then reverse. The door works...

If the main light flashes 10 times when the door reverses it is a door sensor problem. If not, you probably have a bad RPM sensor board which is a small printed circuit board just in front of the motor.

Access Master 1/3 HP garage door does not close, blinks

Most likely your door sensors are out of alignment. Make sure they are pointed directly at one another.

Professional series, lift master 1/3 hp, the remotes will not operate door but door will operate from wall pad

Check to see if the small light in the wall pad is blinking. If so press and hold the button with the lock icon for 3 seconds.

If this isn't the case your receiver may have failed. The wall button works without the receiver;

I would remove the logic board and look for loose or missing traces on the printed circuit board.
