Can not tune the tv
My dear friend. A TV is a TV and TV's are many and varied. If you stated the model and what it exactly does, maybe I or other people could help you instantly. But since you have said little in relation to TV tuning, then expect a few guys to help you. But allow me to give you a hint that applies to almost all flat panel TV's, ok? Right. On every TV there is a MENU that gives you many options. First you need to press a button on the remote that displays component connection channels and TVincoming signal type. Since I don't know what brand of flat panel TV you have, I can only ask you to find and press the button on the remote that displays on TV screen the following component channels, that is DVT, AVT, Component 1, Component 2, HDTV1, HDTV 2, HDTV 3 and so on. Apart from DTV and ATV, from Component 1 to HDTV 3, these additional channels are for DVD players that also have HDTV outputs and BlueRay players and or Audio devices. If yout TV hasn't got as many channel input, then ignore this part. To tune your TV you have to first press the butoon on the remote to activate the onscreen channel as above, then scroll on DTV or ATV and, depending on whether you have Digital TV in your country or the standard high resolution Analog TV. Lets say you have Digital NTSC format TV system, select it and then press ENTER on your remote. In the menu you find and click SCAN. Depending on where you are, the TV will begin scanning all frequencies in your territory and possible interstates if the modulator is powerful enough to pick up weak signals. Most TV's have an inbuilt set-top box that boost the signal to give you a crystal clear pic. Now, after pressing SCAN, the TV reaches a signal with a clear pic, all you have to do is recognise the channel that comes in view. The instructions on how to save that channel are on screen and then you can configure it as, say channel 4, if the channel that appeared is channel 4, if not, try and recognise what channel had appeared and then configure it with a number, so when you press that number on the remote it will be the same channel you had stored in the TV memory. After you have done this, press scan again and it will scan to the next channel. Once the scanning recognises another clear signal and it is as clear as a baby's face, you have recognised the new channel. Try, find out what channel it is by looking at the screen, there is usually a visible TV station name or number embossed on the lower corner of the screen, once you know what station that is or what channel number it is, configure that number and press ENTER (save) button. Do the same with the remaining channels. Later I will tell you how to skip unwanted blank channels that usually have no signals but snow and lines, or have faint signals that can only be boosted with a TV booster available from reputable TV retailers, or install a bigger more powerful antenna.
Reagards.
