There could be a few reasons why your Yamaha Electone EL-15 isn't producing sound when the organ setting is selected. Here are a few things to check:
Make sure the volume is turned up on the keyboard itself and on any external amplifiers or speakers you may be using.
Check the connections between the keyboard and any external amplifiers or speakers. Make sure the cables are plugged in securely at both ends.
Make sure the keyboard is in "organ" mode and not in "silent" or "play along" mode.
Check the keyboard settings to ensure that the organ sounds are enabled.
If you are using the keyboard with a computer, make sure the MIDI settings are correct and that the keyboard is being recognized by the computer.
If you have tried all of the above and the keyboard still isn't producing sound, it is possible that there is an issue with the internal sound system. In this case, you may need to have the keyboard serviced by a professional technician.
Check with a small speaker or amp plugged in the back. If you can hear it then the jack in the back is probably not making contact. If no sound comes out there then the Audio Amp or it's circuity in the organ is more than likely to need repair.
Hi,
Since your keyboard works fine with the PC. That means the problem is with the keyboard's Speaker. Either your speaker cable or speaker itself is not working... you have to identify that whether the problem is of speaker wire or speaker.... see that whether the service manual of your gadget is available or not.. if available then purchase the same. It will help you a lot for while repairing
Hope this has helped you.... Thanks...
Simply put, the speakers can't be changed on Yamaha keyboards. If you have blown the speakers then put the sound through an amplifier or HIFI speaker system - but you must be able to have an AUX cable and AUX on the HIFI for this to work. Sometimes it can also work by use of composite cabling too, depends really on what audio equipment you have.
