SOURCE: Fisher and Paykel dryer not drying
if you have the front panel off, and you're looking at the dryer drum, there's an orange button below at the bottom.
BUT
there is a problem with the element, it will have to be reset regularly. Fisher & Paykel has re-engineered the element, and it is free. call them. you may have to pay to have it installed, but it is the real solution. daily resets and or cutting your dryer frontpanel are NOT the solution ( which i've seen people recommend).

Pretty easy on the lint assy;
Remove the lint cup;
Find screw (5) in a recess at the bottom of the lint cup area;
This will allow removal of the perforated lint surround, and the 'lint scraper'; Also will expose the moisture sensor (3) hanging off wires at the bottom of the assy;
At the bottom of the surround there is another recessed phillips screw; remove this, then twist the surround (14) counter-clockwise about 1/2" and remove to expose the filter (13).

Not sure on the reset- I do know the top swivels up after removing the two screw caps and screws at the front of the unit on either side. This exposes the underside of the control panel; there are screws at the back of the control panel also.

Diagnostic Mode
Entering the Diagnostic Mode
(a) Turn the power supply to the dryer on.
(b) Press and hold the Auto Dry down button, then press the Power
button.
The dryer is now in level 0 of the diagnostic mode. After initial entry into the
diagnostic mode, the Start/Pause button operates the dryer as normal. Press
the Auto Dry up or down buttons to scroll through the fault levels.
There are several levels of diagnostics, most of which are used in
development and production. These levels may bring on various LEDs, but
the level of use for the service technician is that of the last fault.
Last Fault
To enter the last fault diagnostics, enter the diagnostic mode as described
above, then press the Auto Dry up button three times. The last fault will be
displayed on the drying progress LEDs.

I had the exact same symptoms, and tracked it to the door switch sensor indicating to the machine that the door was open. The problem was not the switch, but a failing door hinge, which resulted in the switch actuator on the door not pushing the switch in far enough. Fix or replace he door fixed the issue for me.

I had this same problem with my Dryer. It is making the few quick beeps because it thinks the door is still open. Near the bottom of the opening to the dryer there is a sensor switch that gets pushed in when you shut the door. Try holding the switch in with a knife or something and then start the dryer with the door open to check if that is the problem.
After i did this, i closed the door and my dryer started as normal.
