Need code to operate Dynex Flatscreen TV on Verizon Fios

You may want to try a different universal remote, like the Logitech Harmony.

the remotes usually to program combos ...but you may want to try the dvd ...and vcr codes ...as well

I assume you wish to run the TV with the Fios remote.

I have the Samsung Sound Bar WS1R model. I tried all of the Samsung codes; TV, audio receiver, and audio amplifier. The DVD code 3918 worked for my Verizon FiOS remote. Program it to your AUX button and it will control the volume while your other buttons; channel, menu, etc work the set top box. I hope it works for you too!

Paper says go to the next number... in this case it is 0205, works for me!

Yesterday I called Dynex at 1-800-305-2204. The rep gave me 0463 which didn't work when I called VERIZON FIOS but the Dynex rep did inform me during the call that if it didnt that Dynex is comparible with Orian, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania and Zenith. So any of these tv codes should work. The code of Orian which is 0490 indeed worked!!!! And when you call Verizon make sure when they help you program your remote that they do the second step if they dont tell you which is add the code 799 which will let you just push STB then Power to cut on/off the tv. My bedroom tv, I always pretty much had to use the tv remote to cut on and off but when the Verizon rep gave me that step for the original tv I was having problems with told me this step, I had her walk me through the other tv remote and add that code and its great. She said that alot of technicians just been taught the other way. Hope this info help you.

for my tru-tech i used the auto code finder on the Fios remote instructions it didn t take very long, I can t say the same for my memorex tv though.
