I inadvertantly took my stand for my sony bravia 40" tv back to costco thinking it was part of their wall mount which i needed to return. they said they would no longer have that stand but would have sent it back to sony as a spare part. This took place in San Diego probably in october or november of 2010. I orginally wanted to install the tv on the wall, but have now decided to just use it with the stand, but don't have it anymore. Pease can you help me Patricia

There is a slotted area on the bottom of the unit and the bracket on the stand slides over top of it. There should have been four screws that came with the packaging that fit in the four locations in the lower center of the cabinet back that secures the unit to the Stand.

Take all the screws out of the base,might require an Alan wrench.Take mellet make a couple taps.Should pull the base right out.
