I can't pull a parts breakdown of this one at the moment. Is the lint screen inside the dryer door or on the top of the machine. Also do you have the full model number (open the door and it is staped on a sticker next to the serial number). Just let me know and I'll type you up a step by step walk through. (did you already purchase the replacement belt from a local appliance parts dealer or on line from the manufacturer?)I can't pull a parts breakdown of this one at the moment. there is a belt that goes around the drum and is attached to a pulley at the bottom. you will need to unplug the dryer access either the front or back and check to see if the belt is tight. if its loose or snapped off, you may have to purchase a new one. it's cheaper than replacing it with a new dryer. good luck!
remove the two brackets on the back holding the top cver to the rear back cover. One screw is on each bracket. Next pry the top covers front section. It has hold down springs keeping it on. They snap right off. Now remover the front outer panel to gain access to the drum. You will need a new tensioner pulley and a belt to fix your dryer. The inner roller bearing is dried up and a replacement is needed with a new belt as well
This is not for the faint hearted!
First of all with the top off is the drum still in place and turns ok?
If ok, then take the sides off , un- du the back so you can pull the drum out of its housing from the front so you can put the belt round the drum. re fit the drum replace back panel and top, leaving you one side panel off nearest the motor. Stretch the belt on to the motor spindle, this requires brute force and a special tool to do it with.
I suggest to call in an engineer
If you get wrong you may be buying a new dryer!
remove back cover off dryer, put belt around drum and drive motor, pull spring loaded pulley back, as it will be resting on drum, feed belt around pulley. and reassemble back cover.
put back back on with top off remove screws in top corners of front panel remove bottom panel and screws holding blower/lint screen housing on remove door springs remove screws on bottom corners of front belt is probably lying in bottom
