My lap top wont recognize or read my LG mobile phone every time i hook it.

Hook the phone up to a laptop or PC and download the files to the card that way.

check that the driver for the phone is still installed in the lap top
check for compatibility as any upgrades to the os in the laptop may have stopped the driver for the phone

If the phone is recognised as a usb drive on the laptop (you may have to enable usb mode on the phone) then usually most pictures are located under a folder named "DCIM"

You must install a software driver in your laptop to recognize or read your mobile phone, or cell phone..

How did u save the music? All my mp3 music was easy to transfer into my lg vu. Let me know

Some memory card wont be recognized by some phones or pc's. I also bought a sandisk card before and just found out (through reading online forums) that some don't actually work.

I had the same problem and found the solution on the following site!
http://www.lg-vu.com/index.php?topic=2660.0 Reading thru the blog you will find the best solution is to download the MP3 tag which there is a link for and untag the retag your MP3's and they will work. So easy but up to 6 hours or more to locate.

Sounds like another Vista Bug, i would check the HP site for this issue and if its under warranty, contact HP. If you have alot of Blue tooth devices hooked up, it may be that its trying to use another device in its place or the signals are getting crossed, im not positive.

Its like when you have to many network drives all hooked up and you plug in a USB device, Windows pops up those anoying bubles saying its detected, but in My computer it doesnt show.

So bassically you have to right click my computer, manage, disk management listed uder storage, right click on the device or drive and change the drive letter to something like " W" or " Z" or anything not in use.

It may be a siomilar case with your bluetooth, youo may have to much stuff connected. Try redoing everything like you have so many other times before, and then limiting how many bluetooth devices you have connected at the same time. see if theres a difference.

YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO DOWNLOAD DRIVERS FOR THE PHONE FIRST. THAT IS WHY IT ISN'T RECOGNIZING IT. ONCE YOU HAVE THE DRIVERS INSTALLED, IT SHOULD READ THE PHONE WHEN HOOKED UP.
