Hi,

Whenever the fridge is open it gives 19 beeps actually. In your case even when it is closed it is giving 19 beeps. This is the problem with control board. The control receives the signal when closing the door and stops the sound.Check the wiring connection to and fro the control board to the door.Control board costs high. This is small problem you can just unplug the wiring connection to the door to the board instead of spending more.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

Press the temp control button on the panel and see if this beeps stop.If this beep stops and returns again then its a Fan problem in the Fridge compartment. But if you press temperature button and beeps dont stop then its faulty control panel it has to be replaced., -----------------
The fridge compartment also has a fan identical to the freezer evap fan.
This is located behind the centre panel at the top of the fridge section at the back of the compartment.
When these fail, the fridge compartment wont always maintain temp, so the high temp alarm beeps.
---------------- One more thing to check is your refrigerators door. Are this doors getting closed properly,if not then this will also cause the beep. -------------- First, check if your fans are working in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. While door is open, hold a big magnet to the middle of the area where the door would close - this will activate the fan. If the fan doesn't turn on then pull the panel in the freezer and remove the fan. Test it with a multimeter. If fan is broken, get replacement one from F & P (about $65). Easy fix but difficult to diagnose unless you remove the panel. But if both fans are working then other possibility is heater element, element should be around 375 ohms. The heater element and thermal fuses come as one unit. Total cost $85AUD .--------- Check out this possibilities. This will help to troubleshoot the problem.Thanks.Helpmech.

The tech obviously doesn't know which model it is after giving all the info. He is talking about the fridge compartment and also the freezer compartment whereas this is just a fridge and no freezer.

The beeping noise is a warning that could be door open, hi interior temp or maybe the compressor is overheating. You might want to inspect the cooling fins for excessive dust or dirt that might be a problem.

Better switch of till you are ready with full load. Otherwise you have to trace the beeper and disconnect it.

How do I turn off Kenmore Microwave Beeping?

I've got a Honda Civic hybrid with the same noisy beeper. I can't have the parking lights on and the door open. I can't leave the key in the switch while making a phone call etc. I think we have to presume that like the Honda, there is no software controlled override on you microwave beeper... they know best and want you to feel safe and secure that no burglar will be able to make a cup-o-soup in your kitchen without waking you. A few screws and you should be able to expose the main circuit board and apply a layer of bubble gum or silicone caulk or JB Weld to the beeping device. Most have a small hole in a black plastic cylinder... so cover the hole and then test for loudness. For absolute silence, desolder the device from the circuit board and replace with a resistor matching the amount you measure across the beeper contacts with an ohm meter.

How to stop it beeping

Is it beeping as the normal end of cycle beeping or Continuous faulty beeping? If you know a bit about electronics, you could locate the beeper and by using a soldering iron, remove it. Or to mute the sound by quite a bit, place a strip of thick insulation tape over the beeper. Otherwise if faulty, you could buy a new board.
