Hi,
Whenever the fridge is open it gives 19 beeps actually. In your case even when it is closed it is giving 19 beeps. This is the problem with control board. The control receives the signal when closing the door and stops the sound.Check the wiring connection to and fro the control board to the door.Control board costs high. This is small problem you can just unplug the wiring connection to the door to the board instead of spending more.
Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)
Press the temp control button on the panel and see if this beeps stop.If this beep stops and returns again then its a Fan problem in the Fridge compartment. But if you press temperature button and beeps dont stop then its faulty control panel it has to be replaced.,
-----------------
The fridge compartment also has a fan identical to the freezer evap fan.
This is located behind the centre panel at the top of the fridge section at the back of the compartment.
When these fail, the fridge compartment wont always maintain temp, so the high temp alarm beeps.
----------------
One more thing to check is your refrigerators door. Are this doors getting closed properly,if not then this will also cause the beep.
--------------
First, check if your fans are working in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. While door is open, hold a big magnet to the middle of the area where the door would close - this will activate the fan. If the fan doesn't turn on then pull the panel in the freezer and remove the fan. Test it with a multimeter. If fan is broken, get replacement one from F & P (about $65). Easy fix but difficult to diagnose unless you remove the panel. But if both fans are working then other possibility is heater element, element should be around 375 ohms. The heater element and thermal fuses come as one unit. Total cost $85AUD .--------- Check out this possibilities. This will help to troubleshoot the problem.Thanks.Helpmech.
