Step 1: Connect the iPad to the computer using the USB cable.
Step 2: Launch iTunes if it doesn't open automatically.
Step 3: Locate and click on the iPad under Devices. Then click the "Info" tab from the navigation bar.
Step 4: Check the box "Sync Contacts with" for Windows or "Sync Address Books Contacts" for Macs, and choose "Outlook" from the drop-down list. Place a check in the "All Contacts" box to include all Outlook contacts when syncing. To select individual contacts, check the "Select groups" box and click each contact name to include while simultaneously holding down the "Ctrl" key.
Step 5: Check "Sync calendars with" for Windows computers or "Sync iCal Calendars with" for Macs if you wish to synchronize your Outlook calendar with the iPad. Select "Outlook" from the drop-down list. Indicate whether to select all calendar items or specific calendar items by checking the appropriate box.
Step 6: Check "Sync mail accounts from" and select "Outlook" from the drop-down list. Check the appropriate box to indicate whether to select include all mail accounts or specific mail accounts if more than one reside on the computer.
Step 7: Check the "Advanced" box and choose which components to replace on the iPad if you decide to replace the mail, contacts or calendar information currently stored on the iPad.
Step 8: Click on the "Apply" button. Once the sync has completed, verify that the contact and address information on the iPad has been updated.

Speaking of syncing iPad with Outlook, you can take advantage of iTunes to sync contacts.
1. Connect iPad to computer with USB cable, and launch iTunes.
2. Click iPad icon, and choose Info the Summary Panel in left sidebar.
3. Check Sync Contacts with, and choose in the drop-down menu.
4. Click Apply at the right bottom to start syncing iPad contacts with Outlook.

1. Tap the Mail icon at the bottom of the home screen on iPad.
Step 2. Then tap to add type of email account that you want at add among: Microsoft Exchange, Mobile me, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL or others. For example, if you want to add a Yahoo mail, just tap the Yahoo mail as follows:
Step 3. Then enter login details for selected email account type.
It will configure automatically and you should able to send - receive emails.
