I have, after sifting through the 144-page manual, figured out what the problem is! At some point you must have set the "Auto-Bracket" setting to on - I did the same thing! To turn this off, put it in any of the Scene or Manual Exposure modes, then press the up (↑) key until "Auto-Bracket" comes up. Then, using the left or right (←,→) keys, set it to Zero (0). This should hopefully solve your problem! :)

Panasonic DMC-Z28 - the flash button does not call up a flash setting menu and so the flash won't turn on.

Is your Z28 set up to do burst shooting as this will stop the flash working, click on the trash button and turn off the burst shooting. Hope this helps.

I'm just looking for setting in my camera where I press 1 time

You have Burst mode engaged.
Set it to OFF with your menu system.
Details are in your manual on page 54
If you can't locate that try the online version at

Hi,
Manuals are available for download directly from Panasonic website. Just go to www.panasonic.co.uk, click on "support", then "downloads", then put "dmc-fx50" in model number anc click search.
Alternatively go to the URL below:

PANASONIC LLUMIX DMC FX50 CAMERA,

You can either make the resolution smaller, the settings look something like 1600x1200 blah blah blah. Also, make the jpeg size smaller, like "fine" (duh, I am drawing a balnk about the others, sorry). In the camera menu.

Can not reload Lumix Viewer 1.1E onto a second replacement drive.

A work around is to get the free Picassa 3 google program. It is a good viewer & will download from a large range of cameras.
