I've developed a CE app for MC9090 and it works fine. However i have just got a truck cradle that allows the device to be charged and it also has an additional long range scanner attached. The problem is that i can't get the secondary scanner that is attach to the cradle to activate. When i squeeze the trigger it nothing happens as if it was disabled while the built in primary scanner works fine.

install a program called symbol appcenter and you can keep people from accessing anything you do not want them to access, I have it installed on mine for an inventory system and all my employees can access is the inventory system. As the administartor I have the password if I need to access anything else in the scanner to ake changes, but nobody else can.

Hello,

You will need to configure the telnet emulator from your pc first and download it to the terminal after.

Check the version of telnet emulator you have. To do this, go to the options menu on the emulator and click on about wavelink.

Register yourself on www.wavelink.com and download the same client version as installed on the terminal. (Don't forget to download the Active sync version.

Tweak all the configuration parameters on the emulator once you have installed it on your pc also enable i2of5 symbology and then download the config only to the terminal.

The MC9090 does not require any installation.

All it requires that you have ActiveSync installed on you PC. That can be downloaded directly from Microsoft. got to www.microsoft.com and just seach for activesync.

Just make sure that the MC9090 is configured to comminicate via USB

Settings >> System >> USBConfig

Make sure it is set to [USB Client Mode].

Also

Settings >> Connections >> USB to PC

Make sure that [Enable advanced network functionality] is ticked.

Start >> Programs >> Fusion >> WCLAUNCH

Once thats running an icon will apear in the task bar.

Click the icon and select "Enable Radio"
