I have a 19" widescreen LCD monitor capable of 1440 x 900 resolution. It has an analog (VGA) and a digital (DVI) input in it. When i first purchased it I had it connected via DVI and it displayed 1440 x 900 perfectly at color 32bit. But recently it has become out of range when on 32 bit and worked fine on 16bit. If i connect it via VGA I can view 32 bit of the same resolution fine.
For some reason the problem only occurs when with DVI 32bit 1440 x 900, otherwise all other resolutions work perfectly with 32 bit on DVI and all resolutions work perfectly with 32bit on VGA.
Suddenly, my Envision wide screen 1440x 900 resolution screen has flickering lines under every word/line etc on my screen and in the middle of the screen (from re-boot) is the message "Out of Range". I have tried changing resolution, but nothing makes it better - some choices make the flickering worse. Nothing will remove the message.
I know this sounds obvious but- I had the same problem, and turns out the cord want plugged in quite properly at the back of the monitor. This may not fix every problem, but, I suggest you check the cord pligged in at the back of the monitor is firmly in there and restart, then if you still get the problem, contact the company.
