Hello, I have an LG Inverter Air Conditioner - LSR122V-4 and it is only turning on for 10 minutes at a time then switches itself off and the 'power indicator light' flashes slowly. Do you know what the problem could be? Thanks, Barb

the outdoor indictor light on my lg split comes on after some minutes on the one inside and the cooling has reduced please can any1 tell me what the problem is

Indoor unit coil sensor fault. Disconnect from PCB measure resistance. 10 kOhm at 10C and 4 kOhm at 30C. if not replace sensor

Inverter compressor run current high. Check compressor windings all equal 1 to 4 OhmsCheck to earth 50 MOhm minimum, check run current. If high, winding is weak. Solution: Replace compressor.

Communcation error between in and out.

Comms Error, check your wiring, remove external pumps. Split/Multi - check volts from terminal N to 3 = 0 - 65 Vdc, Multi V - 4 Vdc terminals 3 and 4

This is a Comms error, you may have had a power spike/voltage drop/power cut. Or a wire has been broken but this is unlikely.

I would suggest turning the power off at the indoor unit by the isolator, and also the power at the outdoor unit. leave off for 10 minutes, turn on isolator on the outdoor unit and then the indoor unit. Then start the unit up.

If the problem persists you may have a fault with the unit and a A/C contractor would be required.

This is a common call for LG equipment, i get it all the time.

This is possibly either a complete outdoor pc board error or an E-Prom error on the indoor pc board. You can try shutting down supply power completely for a minute and then switch on. These units also have a delay timer system which does not like to be switched on, off repeatedly in a short period. Please also check for reset button on the outdoor pc board. Hope this helps.

Sounds like it could be a poor connection in the power plug or a ' dry joint ' on the power board, if it's the latter, it will respond to light thumping at the side of the tv. If that's the case it needs resoldering by a technician..
