Make sure that in the control panel of Windows, "Sounds and Devices" under the "voice and recording" tab, the Yamaha mixer is shown as the device for both voice recording and playback.

Behringer XENYX 2442 FX: Turntable into CD/tape IN. CD/tape OUT connected to USB device IN. Why is there no signal from mixer to the computer?

If I read correctly, you have outputs on the Behringer (CD/Tape Out) connected to inputs on the Behringer (USB Device In). Is that correct? If so, try going from CD/Tape Out directly to the computer. If not, please explain what the "USB Device In" is.
Thanks,
Rich

How do i record drums from drum kit

Hello nastyneph320:
Computer connectivity (via USB, Ethernet or the FW16E FireWire option) and DAW integration features like 8 zone Master mode, DAW remote control and cross platform editors let you seamlessly integrate the Motif with any DAW software, including the bundled Cubase AI software.

Translated it means that you can use USB, Ethernet, or FireWire connection to your PC and use DAW or Cubase AI software for recording. But I'm pretty sure you could use some other type of software for recording as long as it accepts your Keyboard.

Don't forget to vote with a thumbs up if this helped.

Hi, I bought a Lexicon Alpha in order to use with Apple Mac (Logic). Now, my microphone is a dynamic microphone so it does not need any phantom power. When I connect the usb cable, the blue light comes...

I suspect the problem is with the software setup in your PC. Verify all the options and also verify that the AUDIO system is assigned as stereo and assigned to the Lexicon for both in and out... Also check any "PAN" control settings. There is a possibilty that the Alpha has a dead channel...

Try putting a stereo signal into the 1/4 inch jacks and see if both record... if NOT then take it for repair under warranty... I had a Lexicon Omega that had a problem myself... warranty repair...

Can't send instruments (live or recordings) to the tape output.. (does not see signal in Cubasis)

Anything you hear in the mains SHOULD come out the "tape out" jacks UNLESS you have the "tape to mains" button pressed in. (That is for driving the mains from tape or CD) Remember these are line level signals.

Not sure about Cybasis? Is that Cubase software? If this is through a USB port, Cubase, if that is what you have, has to be set up to receive the signals onto tracks. There are a lot of things to NOT get set right with this program... Always use a set of headphones to verify that signals are coming through the mixer.

How do i get my samson c01U mic to work with windows vista and cubase le?

plug your condenser microphone into your computer before starting up the cubase program; then after you plug it into your computer start cubase; when cubase loads, press the [F4] key, then that will bring you to the audio configuration menu, there will be a speaker option and microphone option or what ever that stuff is; go to the microphone option and choose the microphone that you are using, then after you choose your microphone setting click close; then after that make create a [audio] then on the audio tab you will see a red button, by pressing that it will allow you to record, but there is another button beside it called a [monitor], press that button then it will allow you to hear your voice while you record your vocals. hope this help.

Yamaha Psr-340

I don't have Cubase myself but there must be a track setting that allows you to monitor what you are playing live. Also make sure your keyboard shows up as the midi controller on the software. Your receive channel has to match the send channel of the keyboard. Make sure that synthA or synthB shows up as the sound source (audio out). XFi Midiport is your midi in but since Cubase already sees your keyboard your problem is an audio one not a midi one. Hope this helps.
