My tv says no signal. I must have hit a button but I cannot get it back on. There is a long blue box in which it says No Signal on the left and then a channel number on the right.

I think you probably just switched from digital to analogue mode or vice verse. Press the TV button on the remote first to make sure you haven't selected an external input. Then look for a button on the remote labelled "DIGITAL" or "DTV". This is often located above the numerical keys, above the "1". If you need further assistance, please post back and confirm the correct brand and model number of your TV. Thanks.

Hello

Your tV is telling you the truth. It does not get any signal from anywhare at all. There are to possibilities for this display messege. The frist one is external, that is, Tv is not connected properly to any input source. Check the input connections forst and make sure that all are correct, according to your TVs user manual says. First of all connect it to an external antenna, and set the tv to autotune mode, and find whether it searches for channels for air and memorizes all the transmitted channels at that time. If it does, make sure that, you have connected other inputs incorretly, or node selector is in worng select position. This can be set by going through the Menu options. If the tV doesn't tune on air channels, when you connect it to external antenna, and tuning indication is on, either it memory IC or its Tuner has trouble. To rectify this fault, you have to open your tV, and locate them, resolder them, and replace them with identical one both in type and number. OK.

My tv only shows a blue screen when i turn it on

1. Check your wiring connections, one may have come loose.
2. If the set-top box is connected to the television using a coaxial cable, then the television should be set to Channel 3 or 4 to receive the signal.
3. Discharge your TV, unplug your TV and press and hold the "Power" button for 30 seconds. Plug the TV back into the electrical outlet after 30 seconds and check to see if the problem persists.
4. Hit the Input or TV/Video button on your remote to see if there's a signal coming from another source connected to your TV. The input button will shift between a number of cabling connections.
5. Your TV may need a service.

How do I get Amazon Fire TV resolution set so I get more than a blue screen?

Select the input channel for your Fire TV - Turn on your TV and select the input channel for the HDMI port you used to connect your Fire TV. You should then see a loading screen with the Amazon Fire TV logo 4.

NO PICTURE

Refer to the manual (free download here). Generally, a blue screen indicates a very low or non-existent signal. This can happen when the antenna is unable to gather enough of a signal from a particular broadcaster, or if an A/V input is selected, but the A/V device is not on or providing a signal. Since you are not seeing channel information when tuning, I suspect that the television is set to display an A/V input instead of the internal tuner.

With a working remote, locate the TV/AV button on the lower left (manual page 3 - item 8). When this button is pressed, you can choose to display signals on the ANT, VIDEO1, VIDEO2 or COMPONENT jacks. The ANT selection chooses the input on the RF jack such as an antenna or cable TV (with or without converter box). If using a cable box, the TV tuner should be set to Ch3 or Ch4 as determined by your cable box. Otherwise, select the VIDEO1, VIDEO2 or COMPONENT input that has the source signals you wish to watch from a cable box, DVD player, etc. that is connected to the rear input jacks. Page 7 of the manual details the connection and remote operation.

I hope this helps!

First try another signal input like a DVD player or other source, is the signal displayed ok? Then you have lost the signal on one input from whatever the device is.

The screen shows ''Weak Signal'' and no picture, even though audio is coming through from both the Cable DVR box and Blue-Ray player. The cable box connects to the TV with an HMI cable - all five TV inputs...

Mine did the same thing once. I think all I did was hit the setup on the remote, and let it run back through all the channels and then it worked just fine.

I hope this works for you.

No Signal

You will have changed the video/audio input, on your tv, it should be an input button on remote. The signal will either be on AV1, AV2, AV3 Component or HDMI.
