It sounds like your internet connection is down, can you view any other websites? Try visiting a random link from google, otherwise you may be viewing pages already stored on your computer.
1.Go to control panel 2.Click on Internet Options 3.On the top, select the Advanced tab 4.At the bottom of the page, reset all the settings(not only advanced settings, there will be two such reset options) 5.If doesn't fix, try re-installing google chrome or use Apple Safari on Windows(it will work) or use mozilla firefox. You will definitely be able to go online if its only an issue with the browser and not with internet connection.
