I have two split system Conia rev. cycle air cons models CA30003. Both have "died" within a month of each other. They are just over 3 years old. The cool cycle just switches itself of and blows normal temp air. I switch it off for 20 minutes or so, switch it back on amd it cools for another 1/2 hour before blowing normal temp air again. Parts are not available (so the service guy tells me),. Firstly, any ideas as to the problem. If so, where can I get parts if they are required? I'm in Australia Thanks

It's likely low on refrigerant and freezing...turn it off, coil thaws , cools for a short time and freezes up again. Chances are the leak or leaks are at the flares where the copper connects to the unit. Need leaks repaired and systems recharged.

SOURCE: Will not cool properly.

You have either a faulty thermostat, dirty condenser and evaporator or a faulty run capacitor. Need to service soon before the compressor is damaged. Sea Breeze

SOURCE: blowing out warm air

This could be a refrigerant leak. Before you call out a service technician, clean the filters and then try to see if it works. If it doesn't then get the unit serviced.
Hope this helps

SOURCE: air conditioner doesn't blow cold air. Continues

If the a/c fails to continue to blow cold there could be a few problems you can look for. First once you activate the system check to see if the compressor kicks in. You will hear the compressor humming . Once the a/c quits cooling go and see if the compressor is still running. If its not running its probibly gone into thermal overload (compressor overheated). If that is the case then you need to check to see if the coils are icing up if they are icing up then the problem is with 1) air flow restriction filter dirty, coils dirty simple repairs there replace filter, clean evaporator coil with a coil cleaner that can be purchased at a home repair store cleaning the condensor coil the same. 2) system is low on freon in which case the system will need to be recharged. Also, If you have a digital thermostat replace the batteries that may also be of some help. Good Luck on repairs

SOURCE: need a conia airconditer remote control here in

i had the same problem and i managed to find a universal remote control from JARCAR Electronics. Model of the remote: Digitech AR-1729. It doesn't list Conia as compatible but I managed to gain control of the aircon using the code: 291. For some reason when you press the power button on the remote, it's like your double pressing the on button so the aircon switches on and off quickly. You need to press the power button on the remote quickly and move it from reception before it powers down the unit again. At least I have control of the aircon again and I don't have to put up with these humid hot days in melbourne... Good Luck.

What is the best size kw. ANY BRAND Air Con is Equivalent to suit Air Con : Conia Air Con Model : CA242 S/N:ca24220970353

KW is not the number that you need to be concerned with. The newest rating for HVAC is called SEER. If yours is older it might be listed as TON.

Is Conia air conditioner CA24001 split system reverse cycle I cannot get heat?

Sounds like either bad reversing valve or to get you going during the summer someone may have wired it to stay energized all the time which would have been a thermostat problem.

Please help me reset conia split air con ca2422

If you need to reset a pressure switch...then the refrigeration system needs to be checked. High or low switch looks like about a 3/4 inch Diameter plug with 2 wires & a red manual reset switch in the middle.
