Needing a part# for the door gasket on my lg wm2016cw front load washer. we bought it used and the seller didn't have the manual.

Not enough water getting in your machine make sure your inlet hose isn’t kinked or the water pressure hasn’t dropped.

If you take the 3 screws off the back of the top metal panel and slide it back the door lock has a release cord you can pull to get your clothes out. You will need to replace the door lock if the problem continues.

This type of washer spins at high speed and would break your arm if you put it in the washer while it is spinning. Bypassing the lock is not be a good idea. If you want to bypass, you will need a wiring diagram.

all washing machines suffer from same things.overloading throws balance off stuff in pockets finds its way to the pump too much powder is used causing blockages and soft water areas cause elements to fir up with limescale.eventally motor brushes wear.but theyre cheap to replace

Check your owners manual, some models warranty the rear tub that houses the bearing and the inner spin basket. If not the rear outer tub and the gasket between both tubs will have to be replaced the correct the problem. If out of warranty it may not be cost effective to repair.

If you check all these, and still getting the error, you'll need to get the drain motor replaced. This is not a simple task, as the entire front of the unit must be removed to access the drain pump area.

Top must come off, control panel detached, door gasket outer ring needs to be removed, door lock also much be unplugged. The front panel of the unit also needs to be removed as well.

the biggest problem with front loaders is that the seal is so good you end up with a moisture issue all the time (which will cause mold). My suggestion to you is always leave the door open when not in use and also try not to leave clothes in the machine after a cycle is over. leaving the door open and a few good cleanings will solve your problem

just open the door on your lg and the serial number is on a tag.

Any apliance repair store there is a store that is called Marcon that sells tools and appliance parts. but really all you need is a good pair of vise grips. It is a royal pain to replace the door seal. The only way that i can replace this is to take the whole front panel off. takes me aboutt 2 hours to replace without any special tools just vise grips
