Where in Riyadh can I purchase a battery charger for a Panasonic DMC Fz20 camera battery model no CGA SOO2E, 7.2V 680mAh

I have a Lumix DMC FZ20, and I can only charge the battery in the charger provided. This seems to be true for most cameras, certainly all the others I have used apart from a few novelty types that have the battery built in (the MuVi for instance).

DO NOT go for 4GB and beyond. I had purchased a 4GB SD Card but my DMCFZ20 camera did not support it. It has worked fine with 2 GB.

PV-GS50 uses CGR-DU07 battery, extended version CGA-DU14/DU21. it sounds like there is dirt, dust or something else in the lens mechanism. I'm assuming you don't want to take the camera to a repair shop. I've had several cameras and this issue comes up periodically.

You can try:

1. using compressed air (with as thin a nozzle as you can find) to blow out the dust,
2. try powering on the camera and zooming the lens at the same time, 3. gently knocking the camera on a hard surface to loosen the lens mechanism,
4. manually forcing the lens to go back in. This can potentially damage the camera, but it's not working now, so you don't have a lot to lose.
5. Googling the camera model to see if you can find instructions on opening the camera up to clean the lens mechanism.

Hope you got the battery charger with the camera kit. Use it to charge the battery.

In case new batteries will not solve your problem and since your camera is still under warranty you should ask Panasonice to take care for it !!!!! Good luck!
